My Politics

Since the 2008 elections are JUST around the corner, I think it's time I throw my hat into the ring of supporters and detractors. I was a very ardent Fred Thompson supporter, but he messed around too long and didn't go public with his intentions soon enough and lost some support. 

After Fred, I decided that Mitt Romney would be the next best man for the job.  Well, I cast my ballot on 'Super Tuesday' and later that week, he announced his decision to drop out of the race.  Now here we are, in late February 2008, and we are stuck with John McCain and Mike Huckabee as the Republican frontrunners, and Clinton and Obama as the Democratic frontrunners.

I'm predicting a McCain-Obama election, with the socialist Obama being the winner of that race, as McCain isn't very popular at all.  He's a "Republican" in name only, more often than not siding with liberalism and left-leaning public officials in the "hand-out" club...  Those that think that the Government owes them for something they didn't earn.

UPDATE: 29 June, 2008:

I'm rethinking SERIOUSLY my options as an American.  The two major parties are now the butt of most jokes circulating in emails.  With this being said, I'm debating on actually casting my vote on the Libertarian ticket.  What's sad is if there weren't SO many people out there brainwashed by the Obama campaign, McCain would have a lopsided battle with the Clinton campaign.  Alas, she is gone and we are stuck with the racist Obama. (Yes, this is FACT and not election hyperbole.  In 2003, Mr Obama, then a Illinois Senator stated to my face, and I Quote: "...you cracker ass honkey, take your butt back down-state" after an Illinois Senate Judiciary Committee hearing on some anti-gun legislation he was the primary sponsor of.  It was defeated narrowly, but went down non-the-less.) 

Where do honest, hard working American's turn at a point like this?!?!?!?  I wish I were old enough and had the right experience under my belt... I'd run for office myself!  Again, the main problem with that is I'd be ousted after about 3 days for my views on some policies that this nation has that I feel are flawed and Unconstitutional!

Well, since the elections, and the financial debacle on Wall Street and the banking industry, my already dim view of the future of this Nation are were teetering on the edge of great doubt.  Now, with Gov. Blagojevic, A.K.A. Rod 'The Crook', it has been cast over the side with a hearty shove from the liberal left.

  Now, Illinois has been dumped on from the simple fact that the masses have promoted again and again a man who has had more nationalities than Cher had plastic surgeries and isn't even ELIGIBLE to be the President of the United States, and we are stuck with a pompous idiot that blatantly tried to sell an elected office to the highest bidder!!!   WHAT A DISGRACE these two are to the state and the nation!

It truly is a sad day to be an American from Illinois!
