Browning 1919a4

The Browning model of 1919 is a weapon that I'm very fond of.  I've also gained a deep knowledge of the weapon through some very good friends on the net, through www.1919a4.com.  There is a depth of knowledge on the board, from the Class-III (Title II) community, as well as the Title-1 side.

Much of what I've gained in knowledge in firearms comes from a long-standing line of teachers, instructors, and others in the community of firearms.  Some of the more important influences include my Grandfather, Uncle Wes, instructors from the military, as well as the armorers that helped to train me in the realm of gunsmithing.  I'm far from being able to carry the title of "Gunsmith", but my knowledge is growing at a steady rate in the field.  From Mr. George Noeth starting me in the realm of metal work in my high school Machine Trades class instructing me as a machinist, to Mr. Paul Shup of Shup Machine and Tool, for whom I worked for about 6 months or so until my college schedule became too hectic, I've learned from competent people along the way.  That endeavor to be able to be called a "Gunsmith" is continuing still.   Someday...
